The Social Enterprise Training and Support Consortium (setas) was set up in November 2002 when Coin Street Community Builders hosted a meeting of social enterprise training providers and support agencies from across the country.

The purpose of the meeting was to look at opportunities for collaborative working. It was agreed that the Consortium should be formed with the following objectives.

The Consortium was successful in its bids to the DTI and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation to take forward the first four objectives by:

And this website is the result of this work. The Consortium continues to take forward the work on securing bursaries.
