ADEPT

ADEPT is a ground-breaking community development and capacity building agency delivering project work, training and consultancy at local and national levels.

At present it has more than thirty project staff in eight locations nationally. Each project is run in partnership with appropriate local agencies, and is geared to local circumstances and situations.

ADEPT offers services to local partnerships, local authorities, voluntary organisations, community development agencies, community groups, community empowerment networks, and others.


Ashoka

Ashoka's mission is to develop the profession of social entrepreneurship around the world.
Ashoka invests in people. It is a global organization that searches the world for social entrepreneurs—extraordinary individuals with unprecedented ideas for change in their communities. Ashoka identifies and invests in these social entrepreneurs when no one else will.

It does so through stipends and professional services that allow "Ashoka Fellows" to focus full time on their ideas for leading social change in education and youth development, health care, environment, human rights, access to technology and economic development.

Ashoka has invested in more than 1,500 Ashoka Fellows in 53 countries. Those Fellows have transformed the lives of millions of people in thousands of communities worldwide.

CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) is an international non-governmental organisation providing specialist financial services to charities and their supporters. With 80 years of experience and a global network spanning five continents, CAF is committed to increasing the resources of charities and helping individual and corporate donors add value to their generosity.


Charity Skills

Charity Skills is an independent and not-for-profit organisation. Our mission is to:

raise the core skills of our members in health and safety, human resources, finance, risk management and insurance, project management, law, and property. We do this by providing a specialist database, telephone helplines, seminars and a regular newsletter

to web enable charities and save members commercial sector fees by making available our stock of world-class technology at a small licence fee. Large and small charites use our technology, including Samaritans and Mencap.

We also have a specialist division providing websites accessible to people with learning difficulties.


Co-Active

Co-Active develops co-operatives, community businesses, community development trusts and other types of social enterprises. It engages with individuals and communities, enabling them to create and use opportunities and fulfil their potential. Co-Active promotes, with other partner organisations, social economy solutions across a wide variety of regeneration programmes. It works with other economic development organisations to ensure the special contribution of the social economy is understood and usefully deployed.


Coin Street Community Builders

Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) is a development trust and social enterprise which seeks to make the South Bank a better place in which to live, to work and to visit. CSCB has overseen the completion of the South Bank riverside walkway; the creation of Bernie Spain Gardens, Gabriel's Wharf and Oxo Tower Wharf; and building of 220 new homes for people in housing need.


Common Purpose

Common Purpose helps people in leadership and decision-making positions to be more effective: in their own organisations, in the community and in society as a whole.

They offer:
